5 Reasons Why You Should Visit Seville

Are you searching for an affordable and culture-rich destination in Spain? Seville should be at the top of your list! 1. The food

Whilst in staying inSeville I ate some of the most delicious tapas that I’ve ever experienced in Spain! The local dishes were super fresh, and every thing was fantastic value. Most bars will also serve you a free tapa with a drink 👏🏼

2. Flamenco dancing

The Triana district in Seville is considered a birthplace of flamenco, and to this day there are more flamenco artists in Seville than anywhere else in Spain. It’s definitely THE place to experience this heartfelt traditional song and dance!

3. The fascinating history

Seville is one of Europe’s oldest cities, founded by the Romans, conquered by the Muslims in the 8th Century before becoming part of the Christian kingdom in the 13th Century. Plus Seville boasts three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the city – all within a minute’s walk of each other!

4. The stunning architecture

The cities eclectic history as resulted in a unique mix of Mudejar, Gothic and Renaissance architecture in the city that is unlike anywhere else in the world. A free guided walking tour is my recommended way to appreciate the different influences in all the cities colourful buildings.

5. The parks, gardens and nature

The city is filled with a huge variety of flowering plants and trees, including 187 different species in Alcázar Gardens alone. Don’t miss the vibrant orange tree lined streets in the old town!

In conclusion, Seville is like a giant table filled with tapas plates – it’s diverse, colorful, and full of flavor! From the fiery flamenco performances to the intricate architecture and stunning gardens, this city has it all.
